Perennial Investment Advisors is a Registered Investment Advisor registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

As a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) we work hand-in-hand with high net-worth individuals, small businesses and institutional investors in creating customized financial strategies that align with their unique situation.

What Does a RIA Do?

RIAs earn revenue through a management fee comprised of a percentage of assets held for a client. Fees vary based on a client’s needs, assets, goals and objectives. This fee serves to align the best interests of the client with those of the RIA, as the advisor cannot make any more money on the account unless the client increases their asset base.

Considering high-net-worth individuals, small businesses and institutional investors are groups with unique goals, objectives and needs, investment strategies vary on a case by case basis. We work with clients to design strategies that suit each client's unique situation.

The Fiduciary Standard

As investment advisors, we are bound to a fiduciary standard that was established as part of the Investment Advisors Act of 1940. We are regulated by the SEC whom holds us to a fiduciary standard that requires us to put our client's interests above our own, which consists of a duty of loyalty and care.

It also means that we must do our best to make sure investment advice is made using accurate and complete information, that the analysis is thorough and as accurate as possible. Avoiding conflicts of interest is important when acting as a fiduciary, and it means that we must disclose any potential conflicts to placing the client's interests ahead of our own.

What We Do

As a RIA we are held to a higher standard providing clients with:

  • a true financial "quarterback", a resource they can use for sound, holistic financial planning based on their complete financial profile.
  • a unique and customized strategy determined by their overall risk tolerance, time horizon, goals and objectives, and review these with the client at regular intervals.
  • a fiduciary standard. A standard we believe strongly in that puts our client’s best interests above our own.
